While addressing in the meeting Smt.
Sharda Sampath, Postmaster
General told that nearly 30 thousand account with a balance of Rs.78 crores has
been migrated to the CBS in Amalapuram HO.
Amalapuram Head Post Office is in 4th place in
starting of CBS Operations in Andhra Pradesh Circle. She further stated that
the CBS will provide (i) Anytime anywhere banking (on line mediums / SMS) (ii)
Standardised, simple and automated processes (iii) Increase in quality of the
service provided to the customers (iv) Timely and accurate information for
management decision making and (v) To increase the number of customers (vi) To
provide multiple delivery channels like Internet, mobile banking, ATMs thereby
bringing access to financial services to the door steps of the customers (vii)
To enable faster money fund transfers to reach-out to more customers.
The
