It is learnt that vendor is yet not finalized by Directorate to conduct LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) departmental quota for the year 2016-2017.

Once the vendor is finalized, the calendar of examination will be issued by Directorate for the year 2018. There is possibility of LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) departmental quota for the year 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 separately and that too online.

The provisional key of the question papers was already published by the Department on India Post website and representation thereon if any was called for from candidates till 6-1-2017.

It is learnt that department has almost cleared the representations received from candidates and FINAL KEY on the question papers is  likely to be published very soon.

Inspector Posts Examination 2016 will be held in this year....

Directorate vide letter No. 7-14/2011-SPB-II dated 9-3-2011 has circulated revised Pattern and Syllabus for Limited Department Competitive Examination for the post of INSPECOR POSTs for filling up 66.66% vacancies in the Department.

It is learnt from reliable source that pending Inspector Posts examinations will be held definitely and notification is expected soon along with details of syllabus and other instructions. There may be only one examination and according to eligibility and marks candidates will be declared successful. 

There will be 4 papers and that too without the aid of books with 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in each paper. Examination will be held like previous one and from next year it is likely to be held 'ON LINE'.
