CWC Meeting at Ujjain on 10 and 11-9-2016

It was already informed to all concerned that Central Working Committee Meeting (CWC) will be held on 10^th and 11^th September 2016 at Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh). CHQ has already issued notification on 5/8/2016. The copy of notification was already sent by email, whatsApp and also by post. It was also posted on this blog on 5/8/2016.

In the ensuing CWC meeting we have to finalize cadre restructuring proposal of Inspector Posts cadre. It was already informed to all Circle Secretaries to come up with a proposal of cadre restructuring of their Circle Association Branch to discuss in the CWC meeting. The proposal received from circle branches will only be discussed and final proposal will be prepared for submission to Directorate. It is therefore directed to all Circle Secretaries to consult their members and come up with a concrete proposal if any.  

In the last AIC it was discussed and approved that IPs/ASPs working in Directorate will be the part of member of Delhi Circle Branch. Similarly, IPs/ASPs working in CEPT Mysuru will be part of Karnataka Circle Branch.

It has been brought to the notice of CHQ that many circles are still deducting monthly subscription of Rs. 50/- from the pay and allowances of the IPs/ASPs. The monthly subscription has already been revised from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 70/- vide Directorate memo No. 15/03/2016-SR dated 22^nd March 2016. The copy of said memo is once again posted herewith for kind information to all concerned.

Appeal to ASP (HQ) to ensure proper deduction of monthly subscription from Pay and Allowances of members.

Postal Directorate vide letter No. 15/4/2002-SR dated 12/07/2012 approved amendment to Article 38 of the Constitution of our Association enhancing the monthly subscription per member from Rs 30/- to Rs 50/-.

Accordingly, monthly subscription to be recovered by DDOs from the members of our association is now Rs 50/-. It is reported by few members of our Association that, DDOs are still deducting monthly subscription of members at old rate i.e. 30/-. It is therefore requested to all members to request their DDO to deduct Rs. 50/- p.m. from pay and allowances from July, 2012. It is also request to all ASP (HQ)s to circulate the above said Postal Directorate letter among the concerned DDOs and ensure correct deduction of monthly subscription and its remittance to Circle Treasurer.
