Central
Govt. employees' Provident Fund and other similar funds will carry
interest @8.1% w.e.f 01st July 2016 to 30th September 2016. The interest
rate was same in the last quarter. From this Financial Year (2016-17) Govt.
decided to announce interest rate in every three months unlike once in a year
previously.
