Special Cover on World Trade Centre, Mumbai

The World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai was established more than four decades ago, to promote and facilitate India's trade with the world. It was built in 1970 and It consists of two towers, MRVDC and IDBI. MRVDC was, at 156m, the tallest building in South Asia until the 2010 completion  of The Imperial, Mumbai (252m). It is an important trade fair & business center. The World Trade Centre Mumbai celebrated the World Trade Centres’ Association Day on 12th June 2014. The celebration was marked by the release of a Special Cover by Pradipta Kumar Bisoi, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra & Goa Circle, in recognition of the World Trade Centre, Mumbai’s over 4 decades of dedicated services in the promotion of International Trade through various facilities and services.
