Subject :      Merger / de-merger of IPO/IRM care  minimum working experience about Postal/RMS wing before promotion to Assistant Superintendent / Superintendent cadre.

Respected Madam,            

          Your kind attention is invited to Directorate’s letter No. 10-9/2013-SR dated 30^th September 2013 vide which a copy of this Association’s letter of even number dated 21-9-2013 was forwarded by Director (SR) for initiating further course of action.  

          In this context, I would like to bring to your kind notice that members of the Association discussed various issues concerning the cadre including aforementioned topic with Member (P) and OSD to Secretary (Post) on 23^rd September 2013. During the course of dialogue, the copy of circle wise sanctioned strength of IP/ASPs in the entire country was handed over to them elucidating the ambiguity in the above instructions. Both the officers apprehending the position, assured that Department will re-look into the matter and shall accordingly issue revise instructions thereon. Nearly month’s period elapsed but till date revised instructions have not been issued. 

It is once again requested to either arrange for withdrawals of the mandatory condition of service imposed vide Directorate memo No. 25-02/2001-PE-I dated 9^th September 2013 or revised instructions may be issued in the interest of the cadre and department as assured.  

An early action is requested with a line in reply.
