Subject : Non convening of DPC for the promotion to Dy. Manager MMS.

Respected Madam,      

         
       This Association vide its letter of even number dated 1/5/2013 (copy enclosed) brought to the notice of Directorate that, there are only 4 posts of Dy. Manager MMS available in all over India and DPC for the promotion to the post of Dy. Manager was not convened years together. Therefore senior incumbent of post of Assistant Manager are being deprived from the promotion and they are retiring as Assistant Manager whereas on other hand younger’s are enjoying these posts without their seniority.  

In this context we would like to draw your kind attention to item No. 4 of minutes of meeting of Departmental Council (JCM) held on 10/2/2012 circulated under Directorate memo No. 6/2/2011-SR dated 1^st March 2012 in which it was stated that process for filling up the posts of Deputy Manager MMS will be completed within 2 months, but despite lapse of period of more than 1 year no fruitful result as on date has come out.   

It is therefore once again requested to your kind honour to ascertain the factual position of this issue from SPG Division of Directorate and arrange to issue strict instructions to convene the DPC for the promotion of post of Dy. Manager within a period of one month.
