Jharkhand circle bagged first position in Best Practices in IT

 Jharkhand Postal Circle participated in a workshop organized by Government of Jharkhand on “Best IT Practices for customers”, during the Digital India Week on 06^th of July, 2015 in which esteemed institutions like BSNL, SAIL, MECON, CCL, Microsoft, ISM Dhanbad, BIT Sindri, Department of IT Government of Jharkhand etc. also participated.

Jharkhand Postal Circle was selected by the jury comprising of Secretaries and Chief Secretary, for award of first prize, amongst these elite participating groups. Prizes and mementos were handed over to Shri Anil Kumar, Postmaster General (BD & Mails), Jharkhand Circle and Circle Team in a well organized and colorful closing ceremony by Sri Rajeev Gaua, Chief Secretary, Government of Jharkhand in presence of Sri N. N. Sinha, Principal Secretary, Rural Development,  Sri Sunil Barnwal, Secretary IT, Sri A. K. Satpati, Secretary Personnel, representatives from Department of Electronics & Information Technology,  Govt. of India, other dignitaries, participants and press and media people.

The occasion was also utilized by Shri Anil Kumar, Postmaster General (BD & Mails), Jharkhand, to highlight and showcase the digital transformation of India Post, IT Modernization Project, e-enabled products which got rich mileage and positive response from the participants and other organizations present on the occasion.
