Verification of Membership for recognition of Service Associations representing Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) (earlier called as Extra Departmental Agents) under EDA (RA) Rules, 1995-Calling of applications.

Verification of Membership for recognition of Service Association under CCS (RSA) Rules,1993

It has been reported by Circle Secretary West Bengal circle that, West Bengal circle is presently having 221 working strength of IP/ASP cadre and out of these, 209 took part in verification of membership and submitted their participation memos to concerned divisional head. 

CHQ congratures for achieving 94.57% membership in WB circle.

It was requested through this blog (post dated 10/11/2015) to all Circle Secretaries to ascertain and intimate their circles position related to our cadre only. 

It has been reported by Circle Secretary Odisha circle that, Odisha circle  is presently having 141 working strength of IP/ASP cadre and all have taken part in verification of membership and submitted their participation memos to concerned divisional head. 

CHQ congratulate CS Odisha for his active part in associations activities and achieving 100% membership. 

Remaining circle secretaries are once again requested to submit their circles reports to GS immediately.

Our all Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers are well are that as per the Directorate Memo No. 13-1/2015/SR dated 5^th August 2015, Drawing and Disbursing Officers has already started monthly recovery of unions/Associations subscription from the pay and allowances of employees from the pay of October 2015, paid on 31/10/2015.

It was also stated in the said memo that Divisional Head should complete membership verification process by 6/11/2015 and submit final report to Head of the Circle and in turn Head of Circle will submit consolidated statement to SR Section of Postal Directorate by 18/11/2015. It means that entire verification process is completed at divisional level and only consolidated report is under preparation at Circle Office.

All Circle Secretaries are once again directed to ascertain their circles position in respect of our cadre and send report to GS through whatsApp on CHQ group immediately. 

Karnataka : Verification of membership crossed 92%

Shri Manjunatha Hubballi, Circle Secretary, Karnataka Circle reported that out of 195 working strength, 180 IP/ASP took part in verification process and CO has issued instructions to all DDOs in the circle for monthrly recovery of subscription from pay and allownaces of IP/ASP for the month of October 2015 payable on 31/10/2015. The percentage of verification of our Association in Karnataka Circle crossed 92%.

 

CHQ congratulate to all IP/ASPs working in Karnataka Circle for their unity.

The entire process of verification of membership for recognition of service association has already completed on 30/9/2015. Now, Drawing and Disbursing Officers will start the monthly recovery of subscription from the salary of the employees for the month of October 2015 payable on 31.10.2015.

 

Inview of the above, it is once again directed to all Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers to intimate the result of verification of their circles for IP/ASP cadre to Generarl Secretary by SMS or through whatsApp on CHQ group immediately.

The last date for submission of membership declarations is extended up to 06.08.2015. Hence it is requested to all members (IPs/ASPs and Offg. PS Gr. B Officers) to utilise the time and take active part filling up the membership verification forms and show the 100% unity. ASP (HQ) of each division will ensure as to whether all IPs/ASPs and Offg. PS Gr. B officer submitted their forms or otherwise.

Subject : Verification of Membership for recognition of service Association under CCS (RSA) Rules, 1993-- Regarding.

Dear Comrades, 

Directorate vide memo No. 13/01/2015-SR dated 9th June 2015 issued instructions for verification of Membership for recognition of Service Association.

         

Each Circle Secretary, CHQ Office Bearers and members should  confirm personally that each  IP / ASP and officers working on adhoc basis in PS Gr. B cadre is giving a letter of authorization addressed to his/her divisional head in the prescribed proforma for deduction of subscription from his/her pay before 6/7/2015.

All should take care that proforma should have two signatures of IP/ASP/ offg. PS Gr. B officer who is giving authorisation and one signature of CS or any other authorized person of the Association.

It is requested that each CS will forward required number of zerox copies of forms (having signature of Director SR & Legal) to ASP (HQ) of each division and in turn ASP (HQ) will get it fill up from all IP / ASP / offg. Gr. B officer of that division and submit to his/ her divisional head before 6/7/2015. To see form, CLICK HERE. 

         

This time our Association needs 100% majority in verification process to prove the unity in the cadre. Therefore there is need to give wide publicity to this verification process through available communication channel between all IPs and ASPs. I am confident on my each and every member of the Association that they will participate in the verification process conscientiously to prove the unity.  

Each CS will give feedback through WhatsApp on CHQ group once in two days. I have already issued information to all Circle Secretaries through WhatsApp on 10th June 2015.
