Madam,
IP/ASP Association would like to invite your kind attention
to its letter of even number dated 28/2/2015 and subsequent reminder dated
9/7/2015 on the above captioned subject.
Last DPC for promotion to
the cadre of Dy. Manager MMS was held on 8/1/2014 and result thereof was released
under Memo No. 6-2/2009-SPG in which following 4 officers were promoted to the
post of Dy. Manager MMS against the temporarily downgraded posts of Manager (MMS)
at Guwahati / Chandigarh / Pune and Bhopal. Thereafter Directorate has changed
the postings of three officers and posted them against the sanctioned posts
except Shri Gautam Rudra.

S/Shri Satya Prakash Sharma posted as Dy. Manager MMS Delhi
and Pranab Chakraborty posted as Dy. Manager MMS West Bengal circle have
already been retired from Govt. service on superannuation on 30/6/2014 and
30/6/2015 respectively. Shri Gautam
Rudra (West Bengal) posted as Dy. Manager MMS Bhopal against the downgraded
post declined to accept the promotion long back. Now, there are 3 clear
vacancies in the cadre of Dy. Manager MMS at Kolkatta / Delhi and Chennai.
In view of the above, it is once again requested your
honour to kindly convene the pending DPC for promotion to the cadre of Dy.
Manager MMS at the earliest.
