Hon'ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh released a commemorative postage stamp in honour of Sardar Beant Singh, former Chief Minster of Punjab, in New Delhi on 17th December, 2013. Secretary (Posts) Ms Padmini Gopinath presented stamp album to Hon'ble to Prime Minister for release. Shri Tejprakash Singh ex-cabinet Minister of Punjab State and son of Shri Beant Singh also attended the function.
