Reminder to Directorate for issue of pending seniority lists of Inspector Posts cadre

Subject : Issue of combined All India Seniority List (Gradation list) of Inspector of Posts from the year 2001…..reg.

Respected Sir, 

         I would like invite your kind attention to this Association’s letter of even number dated 1/9/2014 followed by reminders dated 13/10/2014, 12/1/2015 and 26/3/2015 on the above captioned subject. During the course of visit to Directorate in the last week it was told that the work of preparation of seniority list of Inspector Posts cadre has already been transferred from SPG Division to SPB-II section.

It is further bring to your kind notice that Directorate vide memo No. 9-09/2011-SPG dated 21/2/2014 has released seniority list of Inspector Posts cadre for the years 1998 and 1999 and thereafter vide memo No. 9-09/2011-SPG dated 18/12/2014 had issued only seniority list of Inspector Posts cadre for the year 2000. As on date 14 years seniority lists are pending. During the course of informal meeting with Hon’ble Member (P) on 10/6/2015 he has assured that pending seniority lists of Inspector Posts cadre will be issued in phased manner. This Association has already informed to Directorate that if seniority lists are not released early, then records pertaining to old periods will not be available at Directorate (DE and SPG Division) and thereafter more problems will crop up to decide the seniority etc. and also at the time of convening DPC for promotion to PS Gr. B cadre.  

In view of above lines, it is therefore requested to kindly look into the matter personally and arrange for issue of Combined All India Seniority List of Inspector of Posts cadre from the year 2001 onwards in phased manner as assured by Hon’ble Member (P) and also publish on the departmental website.

A positive action and line in reply is requested.
