Subject : Request for initiating vigilance enquiry into the death case of
Smt. Mohini Gupta, ASP Ajmer (Rajasthan).

Your kind attention is invited to
letter No. Vig./2-1/2014/Ch-II dated 28.3.2014 addressed to your honour and
copy endorsed to this Association by APMG (S&V) o/o CPMG, Rajasthan Circle,
Jaipur regarding report on complaint cum representation dated 19/1/2014
preferred by late Smt. Mohini Gupta, ASP as well as on letter of even number dated
18/3/2014 given by this Association for initiating vigilance enquiry into the
death case of Smt. Mohini Gupta.

Association indeed to bring to your kind notice that CO Jaipur in above
referred letter stated that the case is under investigation with the SRM ‘J’
division, Jaipur and the CLI in the case shall be conducted shortly by the DPS
Ajmer. It was also stated that the allegations made by late Smt. Mohini Gupta
against the persons involved in the case shall be investigated deeply during
the course of carrying out the CLI by the DPS Ajmer. But it was brought to the
notice of this Association by the members of Rajasthan Circle that despite
lapse of considerable period, neither Directorate nor Circle Office Jaipur has initiated
the inquiry in the matter.
In view of above lines, it is urged to
constitute a committee at Directorate level for immediate departmental
vigilance enquiry on the points raised by the deceased officer in her
representation dated 19/1/2014 to elicit the truth and to bring the real
culprits behind bars otherwise nothing will come out through CLI. It is also
requested to device safeguard measures for the IP/ASP cadre in order to avoid
any such incident in future.
The action taken at Directorate level
may kindly be reported at the earliest.
