Brain Drain in Inspector, Posts cadre

Yesterday on the farewell party of Sh. Abishek Shukla who relinquished his charge of Inspector Post (BD) consequent upon his appointment as Inspector Central Excise & Taxation Baroda, I personally believe that DOP is loosing experienced IP turn by turn. This was the 9th wicket that has been taken by CBDT/CBEC giving setback to Punjab Postal Circle. Ever since Sh. Shukla joined DOP, he wanted to move on to other organization as his other eight batch-mates did, not only to have job satisfaction but to have Grade Pay of Rs.4600/=, the GP that DOP can not.

Sh. Abishek Shukla relinquished IP Charge on 31/3/2011 after giving most important time to the department. Sh. Shukla was 2003 batch inspector Post, again appeared in 2008 graduate level examination and now selected in central excise. He holds a Post Graduate degree in MSc (Math). All members of IPASP association posted at Chandigarh gathered in GPO building to greet him on his selection in the higher GP. Members of the association will always remain thankful to you Sir for your insight, your guidance, your companionship, your integrity, and for all the sacrifices you made for the association. Thank you Abishekji and hope that you will provide full help to the association even remaining in other department as you did while remaining with us. We all wish you happy and prosperous carrier in Central Excise. Association acknowledge denotation of Rs.2100/- you denoted for the cause of union.
