HYDERABAD: Govt of Andhra Pradesh has raised the upper age limit for government jobs by two years. A government order (GO) in this regard was issued by the general administration department (GAD). As per the order, the maximum limit for general candidates has been increased to 36 from the present 34 years. For SCs, STs and BCs, the upper age limit has been increased to 41 years from 39 and for physically handicapped candidates, from 44 to 46. However, the exemption would be only for this year and for all job notifications issued before December 31, 2013.
