Department of Post vide Letter number C-32016/12/2011 dated 8-01-2013 has endorsed Department of Personnel and Training letter no. 142/15/2010-AVD-I dated 31-7-2012 revising the rate of Honorarium to IO/PO for conducting Departmental enquiries.
If there is a delay in completion of the inquiry which is not due to non cooperation of the charged officer or due to stay orders etc. The honorarium will be reduced by 50%.
All the members are aware that, our Association has severally requested Postal Directorate to circulate the above referred DOPT memorandum and lastly we get it.

The revised rates of honorarium and other allowances payable in case of departmental proceedings will now be within the range of rates indicated in the table below:

Sir thanks for get it, simultaneously please clarify the following points also
ReplyDelete1. It is not clarified that , in our department only, there is a GDS Cadre. Our competent authorities are not sanctioning the latest order honorarium amount for GDS Rule 10 inquiries.
2. One order by the Department of expenditure is that only Rs 4000/- honorarium for each financial year. If it is not revised than this order is not valid.
kindly get it clarified above points from the Directorate.
