GDS COMMITTEE REPORT

GDS Committee report submitted to the HONOURABLE MO C&IT. Shri R. S. Nataraja Murti, Chairman, Gramin Dak Sevak Committee submitted the report to the Honourable Minister of Communications and IT on 29.10.2008. The highlights of the report are as under:- (a) TRCA has been revised. 40% weightage based on the maximum of the existing TRCA has been given. New Basic would be Existing basic on 1.1.2006 + 74% DA + 40% weightage . Table has been given and new pay to be arrived based on the table. (b) 40% of arrears will be paid during this financial year and the remaining 60% will be paid in the next financial year. (c) Other allowances like HRA, CCA etc has not been recommended. (d) Allowances viz office maintenance allowance, FSC, Cycle allowance etc have been doubled. (e) Paid leave will be 20 days in a year instead of 10 days for six months.
